CP-12 probe provides precision measuring of pocket depths with markings indicating 1mm increments up to 12mm. Ideal for complete periodontal examinations. Periodontal probes are used to measure the depth of patients’ periodontal pockets. These hand instruments feature a curved tip with depth markings. They are used by gently inserting the tip into each of a patient’s pockets and recording the depth. Periodontal probes can be made from a range of materials, but because they will be used with almost every patient, they should be easy to sterilize. Having clear, easy to read markings is also important.

CP-15 probe or UNC-15 probe is 15mm long and markings are at each mm and coding at the 5th, 10th, and 15thmm. Millimeter markings at 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14 and 15mm. This periodontal probe is an important tool in the diagnosis of presence and severity of periodontal disease, and in the assessment of periodontal treatment.
It is also used to measure the defect size and the membrane at a GTR therapy (GTR = Guided tissue regeneration). The thin, unbreakable and flexible tips from a special steel alloy guarantee an extremely long life. All our Periodontal probes are prepared by a high-speed cutting machine. Working parts are in very fine to very precise dimensions and the color markings are (do not dissolve or fade off) ultrasound-resistant. 2N Nabers Probe
2N Nabers Probe, 3-6-9-12, Metal, DE
Nabers probe is used to determine the extent of furcation involvement on a multi rooted teeth. It has curved working end for accessing the furcation area. The end is blunt so that it will not harm soft tissues. Some of the Nabers Probe do not have markings. The depth of insertion of the probe into the furcation area determines the degree of furcation involvement.
The rounded shape of the Nabers facilitates the investigation of furcation areas and the measurement of pocket depths and widths. The thin, unbreakable and yet flexible tips from a special steel alloy guarantee an extremely long life.
